Fiber Description

We color match on wool tops in our dye house. Once we finish color matching, the bump of wool fiber cannot be used in the dye house. There is limited availability.

Dyed colors are from surplus of dyed top. Tops have not been processed and will be slightly felted. The fiber can be easily drawn out by hand.

Wool is only classified by micron and treated or non-treated with superwash.

Weight: About 25 grams/meter.

These closeouts are remnants from color-matching processes at the Dye House in Valdese. Quantities are limited and may vary through the year.

Variable

Non-Superwashed Wool: Washing unspun fiber is not recommended. This top is non-superwash. All finished items are hand wash only and suggested to lay flat to dry. Superwashed Wool/Fiber: Washing unspun fiber is not recommended. This is a superwash wool-based top. Finished items are machine-safe for gentle cycle or delicates and tumble dry low/tumble dry gentle. Tencel/Clima: Machine wash cold or lukewarm, gentle cycle, airdry flat out of direct sunlight or tumble dry low heat, delicates.
