Shipping

All domestic shipping is via UPS and USPS. Charges are based on your location and the products you have purchased.

All Mill House Yarn shop orders ship out of the US. Domestic orders shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Ground usually take 4 – 7 business days from the day the order ships to arrive at its final destination. Orders are generally picked and packed within 2 – 3 business days.

Yes! We offer the following expedited shipping options:

  • Ground Shipping – UPS/USPS
  • 3 Day Select – UPS
  • 2nd Day Air – UPS
  • Next Day Air Saver – UPS
  • UPS SurePost (USPS)

However, even if you choose expedited shipping, orders may be picked and packed within 2 – 3 business days from order date. For “yarn emergencies” that might require expedited shipping (ie., faster than Ground service), be sure to call Customer Service to confirm when your order will be ready to ship.

We ship to the United States and to Canada. If you are outside of that area, please contact customerservice@meridianmillhouse.com to discuss placing an order.

Yarn is packed to minimize both shipping costs and packing waste. Skeins are bundled, folded into a box and well sealed with packing tape.

Orders are generally picked, packed and shipped within 2 – 3 business days of receiving your order. If you have special requirements please include a note on the order with special instructions or contact customerservice@meridianmillhouse.com after placing your order. Be sure to include your order number.

Please contact us by email with your order number and tracking number to see if we can help but please note:

We urge our customers to request Signature Confirmation In Person on all orders, which means that your order will not be delivered unless you sign for it.  Please know that Meridian Millhouse cannot be held liable for packages delivered to the address but not received. When you place an order with Meridian Millhouse by submitting payment you acknowledge that your order will be shipped by a third-party carrier, and that when we deliver your order to the carrier, the risk of loss of your merchandise passes to you alone. 

Orders, Payments and Promotions

Orders are prepared when items are in stock within 3 business days from order.

Once the package is created, you will be sent a shipping notification email. You can see shipping information in the shipping notification emails for your order.

Click Track Package in the email notification to view the status of your delivery.

Wholesalers receive a discount off of the retail pricing when they register and login as a wholesaler.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card — through PayPal.

Mill House understands — you’re excited about receiving your order. That’s why we will be sure to notify you via email when your order ships. You can also see the current status of your order here.

Cancellations, Missing Items, Returns and Damages

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return on all items except custom or sale items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale or custom items.

If you need to cancel your order please contact Customer Service at 833.661.0090 or customerservice@meridianmillhouse.com. Please provide the order number and item(s) you wish to cancel.

Please keep in mind that we strive to process and ship orders as soon as possible. Once the order has shipped, your order will be subject to our return policy.

General

Most of the yarns offered through the Mill House Yarn shop are made right here in North Carolina at our Meridian Specialty Yarn Group plants from domestic and globally sourced fibers.

However, our Purchasing Department occasionally finds yarns made elsewhere that we include in the store. Where a specific yarn is made is included in each product’s description.

Yes, you can call our Customer Service number 833.661.0090 and talk to a real person.

We love to hear from our customers. Please use our Contact Us form and send as much detail as you can about the fiber(s), plies, twist, etc. that you can. Somebody from Customer Service will get back to you and let you know what we think of the yarn.
