Shaniko Wool Company is made up of multiple ranches. One of those, Siddoway Sheep Company of Terreton, Idaho, has raised sheep for 6 generations. Their Merino/Columbia sheep grow a sturdy 24.5 micron wool. As always, Shaniko Wool is completely grown, processed and spun in the US.
Sibling to our Roanoke Island yarn, our Wilkesboro yarn is made with Superwash Shaniko 24.5 Micron Wool.
