Jockey’s Ridge – An Ideal Fingering with a Quintessential Twist

by | Jul 29, 2022 | News, Shaniko Wool Company(TM)

Jockey’s Ridge – Fingering is the third edition to our family of Shaniko Wool (Merino/Rambouillet) Tweed yarns. At 440 yards per 100 grams, this is a refined yarn with ideal bounce. The twist is quintessential! The neps of the tweed are very pronounced at this weight and will be vivid in your garment pieces, while at the same time, securely twisted into the three-ply. Try a sample skein today!

We created this new weight in response to a customer’s request. Did you know we can do that?

Jockey’s Ridge is just one example of the many perks you’ll enjoy when you partner with us. We often collaborate with our customers to develop products. We take your feedback seriously. If we have the resources and capabilities, we will create that unique yarn you’ve been dreaming about. Just ask!

We want to be known as your mill and we know that takes investing in our relationship with you, staying in close contact and working with you on the development of new yarns.

Do you have a yarn you have been thinking about? Email us and if we can make it happen, we will!
